Your Lake Shore neighbors are launching a community fundraising campaign to restore and revitalize our beloved park.
Rainbow Park (aka Dinosaur Park) at Lake Zorinsky has long been a cornerstone of our community — a place where children play, families gather, and memories are made. But over the years, this once-vibrant space has fallen into disrepair. Aging equipment, cracked sidewalks, and worn-out facilities have made it harder for the park to be the welcoming, safe, and fun environment it once was.
It’s time to change that —and we can't do it without you. A dedicated group of Lake Shore neighbors have already been in contact with the City of Omaha parks department to make the vision come to fruition.
Our vision is to create a refreshed, inclusive, and accessible park that brings people of all ages together. With your help, we can replace outdated playground equipment with safe, modern structures and repair walking paths and add accessible features.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to turning this dream into reality. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, your contribution will help create a space the whole community can be proud of.
Please consider donating today and being part of something meaningful. Together, we can build a better park — for today, and for generations to come.
If you'd like to join the committee to help spread the word, fundraise, and be a part of the new design, please e-mail Tyler Gloe at tylergloe1@gmail.com
